Field Day June 24th

 Attention Members!!

For those that were not in attendance at the June meeting, we were informed that we WILL NOT be setting up at the Wayne County Fairgrounds for Field Day this year.

Ron Weadick has mentioned possibly using the Club's station in the VFW.  He also mentioned he would look into whether or not we could access the VFW overnight.

Ken Reuth has also offered his property for us to use if needed.

If you are interested in setting up for Field Day this year, please let us know!

Repeating:  WVARC WILL NOT be setting up at the Wayne County Fairgrounds for Field Day this year!

The following was posted to the Facebook page of Centerville Fire/Rescue.

Tonight we hosted the monthly town board meeting and had a wonderful turnout. During the meeting Fire Chief Dennis Spears presented Cadet Jeremiah Cromis an Award of Excellence. Cadet Cromis assisted with gathering all medical equipment needed for an emergency at the Centerville High School Gym and assisted arriving EMS units to the location of the emergency without hesitation. We congratulate Cadet Cromis with his performance.

Just wanted to let clubs know BARC is planning to start having a few fox hunts in Bloomington.  I know a few clubs in the area had previously enquired about fox hunt activities in our club.

Not sure yet on dates or exact details yet and dates.  But let me know if your club is interested and I will keep you posted.
