License Test Session

The next test session will be held on Saturday, February 3rd, at 0900 hours.  The test location will be the Kirk Little VFW Post #1108, 213 South 8th Street, Richmond, Indiana.  All club VE's are encouraged to attend.

Communications and traffic control help needed

 Turkey Chase 7k will be Saturday, November 18 at 1:00 PM. We would like assistance with traffic control on the in-town streets in Centerville. We will use the 147.180 repeater. If you find out you are unable to reach the repeater on your HT, Marc Cromis will have a crossband repeater set up on 446.600 with a PL tone of 82.5. If you are available to assist, please meet at the Centerville Fire station, 414 S Morton Ave, at 12:00 PM.

Also, the Frostbite 5k will be held on Saturday, Dec 2 at 5:00 PM, at Glen Miller Park. Assistance is needed to help with setup, traffic control and communications. Time to meet will be added later.

Communications help wanted

 WVARC has been asked to provide communications during the Veterans Parade in Richmond on Saturday, November 4th.  We will be using the 147.180 repeater, +0.6 offset, PL tone 82.5.  If you are able to help, please meet at the VFW, 213 South Eighth Street at 11:00 hours.

 At the October club meeting, the by-laws, emergency response plan, and dues for 2018 were voted on and approved.

If the Constituion & By-laws are approved, the membership will also vote to approve proposed dues to be levied for calendar year 2018.

Club Picnic

At the July meeting, it was decided to hold a Club Picnic on Saturday, September 16th, at 1600 (4:00 PM).  Dinner will start at 1700.  The picnic will be held at Ken Rueth's residence just east of the Wayne County Highway Garage.

The club will furnish meat and breading.  Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.
